Exhibits

Look for our billboard sign at 248 Highway 231 N  in Troy, AL (231 bypass and for Google just search for Pioneer Museum of Alabama) or call us for directions at (334) 566-3597.

Out front you will see our sign so just come on through the gate for an enjoyable and informative visit.

Be sure to notice our logging locomotive to the right as you come in. You can come back and tour this and the rest of our grounds later.

On your left you will see our “Dog Trot” style log cabin.

Come to the end of our parking lot to enter the main exhibit buildings to begin your tour.

The West wing on your right houses artifacts that would have been found in period homes in the area like this spinning and weaving equipment.

The East wing houses primarily outdoor implements like this log cart.

The central and rear areas of the main building house old time offices, military items and out Gift Shop.

We hope you enjoy a tour of the Pioneer Museum of Alabama and we hope you will support our effort by becoming a member and a donor. We would certainly welcome your assistance it telling others about the museum and the many things it has to offer. Thanks, in advance, for your interest.
